It’s lovely when one major artist gets to do something beautiful for another. Case in point, the amazing Pink, who wrote Celine Dion’s latest single ‘Recovering‘.
The song was written by Pink in honor of Celine’s late husband Rene Angelil. He died in January after suffering from throat cancer for many years.
And the song is quite a bit more simple than Celine normally sings, as it is just her with a piano, and without the affected sounds her voice sometimes makes when she sings in English.
Personally, I would love to hear Pink sing ‘Recovering‘, as I think she would do the song more justice but, still, it’s a pretty song and Celine sings it beautifully.
The song will appear on Celine’s upcoming new English language album, although no release date on that has been decided yet.
Meanwhile, though, her latest French language album, Encore Un Soir, released in August, debuted at number 1 in Canada, France, and Switzerland, and high up the charts in a slew of other countries.
