Pink was on The Ellen Show last week, where she performed ‘Today’s The Day’ for the first time — the new theme song she wrote for season 13 of the hit show. But, Pink didn’t just stop at the theme song. She was also on stage later on to sing her hit song ‘Try‘, a single from her 2012 album The Truth About Love.
And I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. While she is superb on every album she has put out, singing live Pink is even more incredible. As good or better than on the studio version of ‘Try‘, and with amazing stage presence — she just always makes it all look so effortless.
Of course, this version of ‘Try‘ on Ellen is toned down from how Pink has performed it in the past — doing an energetic dance sequence with a male partner all over the stage at the same time. But, that tends to happen when a woman is five months pregnant. You can’t quite do all the dancing.
But, even pregnant, she still sings ‘Try’ with so much emotional energy, she’s gorgeous to watch.

It’s a performance that brought the celebrity-packed audience to its feet, and one people still talk about as it truly was the most spectacular of the night.
