R& B singer Raleigh Ritchie’s first single ‘Stronger Than Ever’ is my Repeat Rotation Video today. I only discovered it yesterday after watching a video interview with British singer James Arthur in which he mentioned he’d love to do a collaboration with Raleigh, as he felt like ‘Stronger Than Ever’ had been written about him.
So I listened to the song to see what he was talking about and, yep, I can completely see it as about James Arthur’s life.”I’m not defeated, I believe that I can turn this ship around”, which is something Arthur says he’s done this year.
‘Stronger Than Ever’ is Ritchie’s debut single, and was released in March, 2014. It has a pretty melody, a strong beat that makes you want to dance along with it (okay, I did dance – in my parents’ kitchen) is an awesome song for radio play (I’d love to drive with this blasting on the stereo), and I love that it skips backwards and forwards between Ritchie’s singing and rapping.
You can listen to ‘Stronger Than Ever’ in the video below and, if you like it as much as I do, expect to be listening to it a lot today.
