Irish electro pop artist Róisín Murphy’s upcoming fourth album is due for release on July 8th.
Called Take Her Up To Monto, it has also spawned an extremely cool video this month for ‘Ten Miles High‘, her latest single from the album. A video that is kaleidoscopicly twisted and so ‘artsy fartsy’ I love it.
Take Her Up To Monto was recorded last year with collaborator Eddie Stevens and, after an eight-year long hiatus, it’s Murphy’s second album in less than a year. Something fans are ecstatic about.
As for the video for ‘Ten Miles High‘, it was created and directed by Róisín Murphy and features her dressed in a hard hat and workman’s fluorescent vest wandering around London. Watch it below.
And, if you like what you hear, you can pre-order Take Her Up To Monto now.
