One of the best live concerts I have ever seen was Irish singer Sinéad O’Connor in Dallas, Texas years ago. To say she had mesmerizing stage presence would be an understatement.
She was simply ethereally and utterly beautiful and, God, what an amazing voice she had. Just as powerful as on her CD, but so much richer and more sad.
Interestingly, Sinéad O’Connor still has that voice and that stage presence today, years later, as could be seen with her live performance of ‘Take Me to Church‘ on Later……..with Jools Holland last night.
The song is her latest single, and comes from her new album, ‘I’m Not Bossy, I’m the Boss’.
Watch Sinéad sing ‘Take Me to Church’ in the video below. Oh to have talent like that.
