St. Vincent gives superb performance of ‘Fast Slow Disco’ on Later…with Jools Holland

American singer songwriter St. Vincent was back on Later…with Jools Holland last night, where she gave a superb performance of new track ‘Fast Slow Disco‘.

Fast Slow Disco’ is an updated faster version of the MASSEDUCTION track ‘Slow Disco‘ and, in her Jools Holland performance, was sung with St. Vincent backed by a band with both drums and synth.

MASSEDUCTION, of course, is St. Vincent’s latest studio album. Her fifth album, one that is the first Top 10 entry she has ever had, and one that made critics wild with adulation.

Last night’s Jools Holland episode also included performances from Kamasi Washington, and French electro-pop Christine and the Queens.

Watch St. Vincent’s performance of ‘Fast Slow Disco‘ in the video below. Now that’s what you might call hot and cool.
