Strong Girl Nam Soon still going very strong with its 10th episode

The ongoing Korean action comedy Strong Girl Nam Soon, Episode 10 aired on JTBC last night to a substantial rise in ratings from its previous episode.

Those ratings, according to Nielsen Korea, are an 8.72 percent audience share nationwide, which is a big increase from Episode 9’s rating of 7.13 percent.

In Seoul, Strong Girl Nam Soon, Episode 10 also performed exceptionally well grabbing 9.29 percent of the audience, which is up from the K-drama’s previous episode ratings of 7.68 percent.

Both ratings put the K-drama in first place on cable TV for the day.

And yes, sure, Episode 10 of the JTBC drama did not air opposite the very popular My Dearest like its Saturday episode currently does.

But, as the drama began its run with a 4.29 percent/4.82 percent rating for Episode 1 and is now currently standing with more than double that is a testament to how popular it turned out to be.

The Korean comedy drama is even experiencing huge success on Netflix where it has been on the Top 10 most-watched non-English TV shows list for four weeks so far. (Currently standing at #5 on the list, with the latest numbers due out tomorrow).

Strong Girl Nam Soon stars Lee Yoo Mi as Nam Soon alongside Kim Jung Eun, Kim Hae Sook, Ong Seong Wu, and Byeon Woo Seok.

The JTBC drama airs every Saturday and Sunday at 22:30 (KST), with Netflix streaming the planned 16-episode Korean drama in most international regions.
