Taylor Swift is releasing a new album next week
While the Internet seems to be in speculation mode about why Taylor Swift deleted all of her social media accounts yesterday and her website has gone black as well, it really doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out what it’s all about.
Taylor Swift is releasing a new album. Come on, it can’t be anything else.
After all, Swift has dumped her Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Tumblr accounts — well, not dumped them, just deleted her profile pictures, plus all of the information, posts, photos, videos etc on them.
When she released her album Red in 2012, Swift also deleted her website. And she did the same again two years later when she released her last album 1989. (Plus threw the coolest party for fans).
Considering she hasn’t had an album release in almost three years, she is definitely due one. Besides, we have all known a new album was coming since this US Weekly exclusive back in May.
And, as Swift is quite predictable when it comes to her behavior before an album release, it is pretty obvious that is what this is.
So, I’m calling it now.
Taylor Swift is releasing a new album and my guess is she will be announcing it on Tuesday August 22nd. Why Tuesday? Because that is the standard release day for albums in the U.S.
After all, one of the biggest stars in the music world does not wipe her social media accounts and website and then leave them that way for weeks.
