Tears for Fears ‘Everybody Wants to Rule the World’ – Classic New Wave – Repeat Rotation Video

Remember that album you bought and played so many times it’s a wonder it didn’t wear out? Mine was Tears for Fears’ ‘Songs from the Big Chair‘, because every solitary song on the album was amazing.

Even now, god only knows how many years later, I can still remember places I was where tracks from ‘Songs from the Big Chair‘ were playing, and where I was incredibly happy.

And that makes me happy everytime I listen to the album again.

So, today’s Repeat Rotation Video is Tears for Fears ‘Everybody Wants To Rule The World‘. The fourth single from ‘Songs from the Big Chair‘, and one of my favorites from the album.

A single that also made it onto a huge number of international charts — including number 1 in Canada, New Zealand, the United States and number 2 in the United Kingdom.

I am even watching the original music video of the song, as that is part of my great memories of this song.

Tears for Fears, by the way, is an English classic new wave pop band made up of best friends Curt Smith and Roland Orzabal and, yes, they are still together 30 years after ‘Songs from the Big Chair‘ was first released (well, they did break up, but….).

Watch Tears for Fears with ‘Everybody Wants To Rule The World‘ below, as your Repeat Rotation Video today. Because, that is still an amazing song almost 30 years since its first release.

And, of course, if you have never bought the album (one of the best ever recorded, in my opinion), you can still pick it up on all major digital music sites.

Including the re-mixed, re-released version that has just hit store shelves in celebration of the album’s 30-year anniversary.
