The SBS TV drama The First Responders 2, Episode 11 aired last night in South Korea to a huge ratings increase versus its previous episode, with a rating that gave the fast-paced action drama its highest rating yet.

The latest figures from Nielsen Korea show The First Responders 2, Episode 11 earned 8.00 percent of the audience share nationwide, which is a big increase from its previous episode’s 6.5 percent rating.

Audiences in Seoul also flocked to the latest episode of The First Responders 2, giving it a 7.8 percent rating versus Episode 10’s 6.5 percent.

Both ratings put the drama in third place for the day in both regions, and have likely risen due to two reasons.

First, the excellent The First Responders 2 did not have to compete with MBC TV’s My Dearest in the same time slot last night, as the historical drama is currently taking a break before coming back with Part 2 in October.

And second, of course, the season finale of The First Responders 2 will air later on today, so fans obviously wanted to gear themselves up for its conclusion last night.

If you are in South Korea, you can watch the season finale — The First Responders 2, Episode 12 — tonight on SBS TV at 22:00 (KST).

Outside Korea, the final episode of the season will be airing on Disney Plus.
