The Killers perform a gorgeous ‘Mr. Brightside‘ on BBC Radio One Live Lounge
American rock band The Killers were in the BBC Radio One Live Lounge this week where they gave a beautiful live performance of their hit single ‘Mr. Brightside’.
‘Mr Brightside‘ was the first single ever released by The Killers. It was eventually released on the band’s debut album Hot Fuss in 2004.
And what is great about The Killers performing ‘Mr. Brightside‘, unlike many bands, they don’t ever seem to get tired of performing this song live. Which is wonderful as it is such a gorgeous track.
Interestingly too, ‘Mr. Brightside‘ is far more popular in the UK than in the US., even being named “Song of the Decade” by two UK radio stations. It is also the UK’s twelfth most downloaded rock track of all time.
Not bad for a song that only has one verse.
