The Real Has Come, Ep 40 still MOST-WATCHED Sunday show

The South Korean weekend melodrama The Real Has Come, Episode 40 aired in South Korea last night and, despite having been running since late March, the drama is still the most-watched Sunday show in Korea.

According to the latest numbers from Nielsen Korea, The Real Has Come, Episode 40 earned 22.8 percent of the audience share, which is 1.4 percent higher than the drama’s previous episode.

In Seoul, The Real Has Come, Episode 40 grabbed 21.5 percent of the audience, up almost 2 percent over Episode 39.

Both ratings came close to the drama’s highest rated episode — Episode 36, which earned 23.9 percent and 22.4 percent respectively.

The Real Has Come and international audiences

International viewers who are watching The Real Has Come and rating it via My Drama List, still have the drama rated an 8.0 out of 10 on the site.

Viewers on Viki, where the drama is streaming for international audiences, also rate it an even higher 9.0 out of 10.

Both of these ratings suggest international viewers still seem to be very invested in the series,even with nine episodes still to air.

The Real Has Come stars Baek Jin Hee, Ahn Jae Hyun, Cha Joo Young, and Jung Eui Jae.

The K-melodrama airs every Saturday and Sunday at 19:55 (KST) on KBS2 in South Korea, and will continue to do so until its final episode premieres on September 10th.
