The Secret Romantic Guesthouse, Episode 1 ratings kicked off with decent audience size

The just-premiered drama The Secret Romantic Guesthouse, Episode 1 ratings were released by Nielsen Korea earlier today and, while not superb, the romantic comedy mystery drama did kick off with a decent audience size for its first episode.

Nationwide in Korea, The Secret Romantic Guesthouse, Episode 1 ratings were 4.4 percent nationwide, with a higher 4.8 percent audience share in Seoul.

That placed the drama in 15th place in its time slot nationwide, and 11th place in Seoul.

Being the drama’s first episode, though, it is always difficult to assess whether audience numbers will increase or decrease for future episodes.

That often depends on what critics have to say about the show, as well as whether people who watched the first episode encourage or discourage their friends and co-workers to watch it.

If it was enjoyed, an audience increase is usual for the second episode. If it was not particularly liked, however, there will likely be a decrease in viewer numbers of the drama’s second episode tonight.

The Secret Romantic Guesthouse (called 꽃선비 열애사 in Korea) stars Shin Ye Eun, Ryeoun, Jung Gun Joo, and Kang Hoon.
