The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract Ep 11 rating rises setting up K-drama for a superb series average

The penultimate episode of the Korean drama The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract aired last night to a rise in ratings.

According to Nielsen Korea, The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract, Episode 11 earned 8.0 percent of the audience share when it aired on MBC on Friday night, which is up from its previous episode’s 7.6 percent rating.

That also put the K-drama in first place in its time slot on Korean TV, and set it up for a superb average rating per episode when the series ends later on today.

As the rom-com drama’s ratings have fallen for the last four episodes, it is also nice to see it heading back up right before it ends.

International ratings for The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract high throughout

International viewers, of course, are giving the romantic comedy drama very high ratings, with more than 5,000 Viki viewers rating it an astonishingly high 9.7 out of 10, and over 22,000 My Drama List users ranking it a high (for that site) 8.6 out of 10.

Almost 500 are also ranking it a strong 8.4 out of 10 on IMDB.

The final episode of The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract, which stars Baek In Hyuk and Lee Se Young, airs later on tonight on MBC in South Korea, with Viki carrying it for most of their international subscribers.

If you have not yet watched the popular Korean drama, but enjoy a good rom-com with main leads that actually have chemistry, excellent performances, a nicely-written plot and lovely music/songs throughout, I say go for it, as this one should make you happy.
