The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract Ep 7 drops in ratings but still has highest Friday performance

The Korean romance drama The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract, Episode 7 aired last night on MBC in South Korea to a drop in ratings.

According to Nielsen Korea, The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract, Episode 7 earned 8.7 percent of the nationwide audience share, which is an almost 1 percent drop from its previous episode’s all-time record of 9.6 percent on December 9th.

In Seoul, the Korean drama earned a slightly higher rating of 8.9 percent, but that was still a drop from Episode 6’s 9.8 percent earned last week.

Even so, those ratings were still The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract‘s highest Friday ratings since the show premiered on November 24th.

The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract and international ratings

Outside Korea, the K-drama continues to perform very well with international viewers who are still rating it with extremely high ratings.

According to My Drama List, where almost 2,500 people are rating it, the drama is currently earning a very high 8.6 (for users of that site) out of 10.

Over on IMDB, the K-drama is still earning a solid 8.4 out of 10, and on Viki where it is streaming for international audiences, The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract is currently rated with a crazy high 9.8 out of 10.

The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract, which stars Lee Se Young, and Bae In Hyuk, airs every Friday and Saturday on MBC at 21:50 (KST).

Its next episode will air/stream later on tonight and, as the drama tends to perform very well on Saturdays, we will likely see another ratings rise tonight.
