tvN’s ‘The Auditors’ gets premiere date and teaser with Shin Ha Kyun issuing a threat

The new tvN drama The Auditors has been given an official premiere date.

The 12-episode mystery comedy drama will premiere on tvN on Saturday, July 6th in the same time slot (9:20 pm KST) as the currently ongoing K-drama The Midnight Romance in Hagwon.

A short teaser trailer was also released (watch below) on tvN drama’s YouTube channel.

What is the plot of The Auditors?

The new tvN drama The Auditors follows the audit team of JU Construction.

A company where corruption has become so bad, a team headed by Shin Cha Il (played Shin Ha Kyun) has been put together to root out the employees currently destroying its reputation and its future.

Alongside rookie employees Gu Han Soo (Lee Jung Ha) and Yoon Seo Jin (Jo Aram), Shin Cha Il intends to begin right at the top.

Something we see in the teaser when he and his team walk into the office of JU Construction’s vice president Hwang Dae Woong’s (Jin Goo).

The teaser ends with Dae Woong saying “Thank you” to someone on the other end of the phone, only to have Cha Il respond with “From now on, I am the one who is grateful”, which, let’s face it, definitely has threatening overtones.

Interestingly too, the Korean title for the drama — 감사합니다 — is “Thank You“.

The Auditors is written by Choi Min Ho, and directed by Kwon Young Il (Wedding Impossible/Doom at Your Service).

Watch the short teaser trailer for the new tvN drama below, and mark your calendars for July 6th.
