It’s hard to believe Canadian singer songwriter Alessia Cara is only 19 years old as her live appearances are stronger than many singers twice her age. Case in point, Alessia Cara’s performance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show this week, with her hit single ‘Wild Things‘.
After all, not only does Cara start off the song by beating the hell out of a set of drums, she then hits the stage to give a perfect performance of the song as well. Poetry in motion actually.
Alessia Cara’s ‘Wild Things‘ is from her debut album Know-It-All, which was released at the end of last year on Def Jam records. It’s a song that is very much an anthem song, especially for young girls, and showcases Cara’s high energy and high passion to perfection.
It is also superb as, with the way the track’s lyrics are written and how Alessia sings them, it sounds more like poetry than it does a song.
