Andra Day’s fabulous anthem ‘Rise Up‘ has been featured on a slew of TV shows in the last few months. Sometimes with Day singing live. Other times as part of the soundtrack of the show.
But this week, Andra Day performed ‘Rise Up‘ live on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and performed it to spectacular perfection.
‘Rise Up‘ is from Day’s debut album Cheers to the Fall, which was nominated for a Grammy Award at the 58th Annual Grammy Awards. The song was written by Day and Jennifer Decilveo and was also nominated for a Grammy for Best R&B Performance. Not surprising as, every time Andra Day sings this song, she absolutely kills it.
