Jools Holland had some amazing guests on his Jools’ Annual Hootenanny on New Year’s Eve, but no more so than Beth Hart and Jeff Beck, who teamed up to perform a phenomenal version of Hart’s own ‘Tell Her You Belong To Me‘.
And, while I loved other guests on the Jools’ Annual Hootenanny on New Years Eve, this performance from Beth Hart and Jeff Beck was easily the best of the evening.
Hart’s voice is full of soul, blues and heart-ache, and is absolutely rocking here. And, with the addition of Beck’s guitar solo, this version of ‘Tell Her You Belong To Me‘ is goosebumpingly heart-wrenching.
Watch them below. Isn’t that just gorgeous? And why the hell isn’t Beth Hart known for more than just ‘My California‘, and why isn’t she a household name?
As for ‘Tell Her You Belong To Me‘, it’s from her latest studio album Better Than Home, an album that is just about perfect. You can pick it up on all major digital music sites. I highly recommend you do, as it’s one of the best of 2015.
