Christina Aquilera appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night where she performed her new single ‘Change‘.
And what makes this single even more wonderful than Aguilera’s releases in the past is that all proceeds from sales of the song over the first three months will go to the National Compassion Fund. A non-profit set up to benefit the families of the people murdered during the horrific Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando earlier in the month.
As for Christina Aguilera’s live performance of ‘Change‘ it was powerful and emotional, and was backed up by a statement the singer published on her website, which said,
“The horrific tragedy that occurred in Orlando continues to weigh heavily on my mind. I am sending so much love and so many prayers to the victims and their families. Like so many, I want to help be part of the change this world needs to make it a beautiful inclusive place where humanity can love each other freely and passionately.”
Gotta love that.
Now watch Aguilera’s gorgeous performance below, and buy ‘Change‘ on one of the major music platforms.
