There’s an interesting video just gone up on YouTube of Austrian singer Conchita Wurst in the studio recording the voice of Eva the snow owl for the German language version of ‘Penguins of Madagascar‘. It shows Conchita recording various lines in the movie, and being asked to say it other ways so the studio has a variety of examples to choose from.
Of course, Conchita does have a beautiful voice and enunciates her words well, so it’s not surprising she’s actually very good at it. She acts well too.
In fact, it looks like Conchita Wurst may just have a multi-faceted career ahead of her. Singer, social activist, voice actor, dancer (yes, she is dancing during her Crazy Horse performances in Paris later on in the month) — what else will she add to that list next?
The German language version of the movie, ‘Die Pinguine aus Madagascar‘, will be released in Austria, Germany and Switzerland on 27th November, 2014.
Fans of Conchita Wurst who don’t live in one of these countries will, unfortunately, have to wait until the movie comes out on DVD.
