Alternative rock band Dinosaur Jr. has been around forever. So long, in fact, they just announced their eleventh album, Give A Glimpse Of What Yer Not, will be released later on this year.

As part of that news, and the promotion the band will be doing for the new album, Dinosaur Jr. appeared on the long-running BBC music show Later…with Jools Holland last week where they performed two new tracks ‘Goin Down‘ and ‘Tiny‘.

Goin Down‘ is the opening track on the new album, and it has the quintessential Dinosaur Jr. feel — all distortion, droning vocals and a wild bass guitar.

I love it.

Tiny’ also features that iconic Dinosaur Jr. sound — pounding drums, massive distorted guitars and those amazing lead vocals. A sound that has kept fans coming back for more for over 30 years.

Watch the band’s live performance of ‘Goin’ Down‘ below, and then pre-order their new album on one of the major online digital music platforms.

EDIT: Sorry, but we’ve had to substitute ‘Tiny‘ for ‘Goin’ Down‘, as that track was taken down from YouTube due to various copyright strikes.
