American country/soul/rock and blues singer Elle King showed up on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert with Jon Batiste and Stay Human for election night last night, where she sang her country pop song ‘America’s Sweetheart‘.
The track is from her debut album Love Stuff, which was released early last year, and was co-written by King and Martin Johnson.
King has previously performed the song live on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.
