Watch Jenny Lee Lindberg’s ‘Never’ Video – Jesus, That Bass and That Voice

Jenny Lee Lindberg,indie rock band Warpaint’s bassist and vocalist, has released the video for her new single ‘Never’ and, from the opening bars, it sounded so 1980s New Order and The Cure to me, I was immediately transported back to my early days as a radio DJ.

‘Never‘ is from Jenny Lee Lindberg’s debut album, which will be coming out in December on the Rough Trade label, and the video was directed by the singer along with Mia Kirby.

And it’s a simple video, with footage of Lindberg shot in the studio interspersed with video of her dancing around in her living room. Highly effective though. And, God, what an amazing bass and, hell, that voice.
