American country music singer Kip Moore performed the lead track from his latest album ‘Wild Ones‘ on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night and, wow, was it a nice live performance.
Moore’s ‘Wild Ones‘ was released in August last year, and it is an especially cool album as, instead of the music we heard on his debut album, it is Moore going back to the 1980s, especially with this Springsteen anthem-style lead track.
Critics enjoyed the album, fans loved it, and it even ended up on a couple of ‘Best Country Albums of 2016’ lists. Cannot say I’m surprised.
Watch Kip Moore and his band on Colbert in the video below to see what a solid track that is, and how they make it all look so incredibly easy.
Edited: Sadly, Colbert has deleted the video from his YouTube channel, which is why we no longer feature performances from his show on Leo Sigh.
Instead, I have substituted a similar live performance Kip Moore gave of ‘Wild Ones‘ in late 3016. This time at the Peoria Civic Center Theater in Peoria, IL. Enjoy.
