Iconic singer songwriter Kurt Vile was on Wednesday night’s ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert‘, where he performed a rocking version of ‘Pretty Pimpin‘, one of the tracks from his new album.
Vile was on the set with his band The Violators and special guest J Mascis who, weirdly, was on keyboards instead of with his guitar.
Not that it stopped him sounding just as cool as he always does. Guitar or not.
The track is from Kurt Vile’s sixth studio album b’lieve i’m goin down. Watch him perform it in the video below.
Nice, eh?
Updated:
As per usual, Colbert has deleted the video of Kurt Vile’s performance from his YouTube channel, which is why we no longer feature performances from his show here on Leo Sigh.
So instead, I’m showing you Vile’s performance of ‘Pretty Pimpin’ on Conan. It’s just as good. In fact, it might be even better. Plus, it has the incredible Stella Mozgawa on drums.
