Watch Lykke Li’s Cover of Drake’s ‘Hold On, We’re Going Home’, It’s Lovely (Video)

Lykke Li has been on sabbatical since January but she’s now back in force. Li released a new video yesterday, a cover of Drake‘s “Hold On, We’re Going Home”   just two days after she also released her official video for ‘Never Gonna Love Again‘. Let’s face it, when she’s on, she’s on.

Lykke’s cover of ‘Hold On, We’re Going Home’ is, I think, even better than the original and I enjoyed that a lot.



That’s because Lykke’s version of the song is all echoes, ethereal and far more mysterious than Drake’s track was. And, to me, it has a lot more emotion to it.

As for Lykee Li, she will be off sabbatical and performing next at Coachella this Friday.
