After fans were asking if Mike Posner was going to perform the SeeB remix version of ‘I Took a Pill in Ibiza‘ when he’s on stage live, the singer responded by saying it would be a slower version of the hit remix track as it is a bit too fast for him to sing live. But, not as stripped down as the original acoustic version.
Then today, Posner released his official video of said ‘I Took a Pill in Ibiza’ live and, I have to say, I love it.
Because, throughout part of the live version, he has still kept the vibe that made the SeeB version funky and cool, but he’s also kept the simplicity of the acoustic version that made the song so touching.
And, man, can he sing live.
