Country singer songwriter Miranda Lambert’s new song ‘Vice‘ has just earned her two Grammy nominations — Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Song. The song was co-written by Lambert, Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne.
And today, Lambert appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to sing it, giving a moody, low-key performance that was perfect in its simplicity.
No wonder the song has sold almost 500,000 copies in the U.S. alone.
‘Vice‘ is the lead single from Miranda Lambert’s latest album The Weight of These Wings, which was released last month, and a song that made it to the number 2 spot on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart soon after.
Watch her on Ellen in the video below.
Edit: Sadly, Ellen has deleted the video of Lambert’s performance from her YouTube channel. That is why I am substituting a superb live performance she gave recently from Austin City Limits.
