Swedish singer songwriter Miss Li, aka Linda Carlsson, appeared on the Norwegian-Swedish TV show Skavlan last week to perform her new single ‘Bonfire‘. A track that is from her upcoming eighth album, and an album that will be the first for the prolific Miss Li since her 2013 Wolves.
Miss Li’s ‘Bonfire‘ is a little bit different than the jazz pop she normally produces, but it is definitely not any less catchy.
In fact, ‘Bonfire‘ with its reggae beat and Miss Li’s throaty vocals could very well be a huge hit for her. It really is one of those songs that burrows its way into your head, and you are still humming it hours later.
As for Miss Li, she is one of Sweden’s most successful pop singers, as well as a singer songwriter that has received attention from a number of American TV shows that have used her songs on their soundtracks.
In fact, if her voice sounds familiar to you, you may have heard her ‘Forever Drunk‘ on Grey’s Anatomy or the track ‘Don’t Try To Fool Me‘ on Weeds.
Watch Miss Li sing ‘Bonfire‘ live on Skavlan in the video below. Now that is a fun, infectious performance.
