Nick Jonas showed up on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night where he performed his latest single ‘Close‘ — the solo version, as co-singer Tove Lo wasn’t able to make it for the show.
Not that I’m complaining because, even as a solo piece, ‘Close‘ is still sweet, touching and quite powerful.
Plus, don’t you think it’s kind of cool that Nick Jonas was, at one point, part of the squeaky clean Jonas Brothers but, in the last couple of years, has become a bit of a sex symbol in his own right?
‘Close‘ is from Nick Jonas’ new album Last Year Was Complicated, which was released on June 10th.
Watch him perform the track on Stephen Colbert in the video below, and pick up Last Year Was Complicated from any of the major digital music platforms.
Edit: Sadly, Colbert deleted the live performance Nick Jonas gave on his show. So I have substituted a similarly superb performance Jonas gave of ‘Close‘ during the The iHeartRadio Much Music Video Awards 2016 instead. Watch it below.
