Watch Of Monsters and Men perform ‘Alligator’ and ‘Wild Roses’ live on Jimmy Kimmel — superb
The Icelandic indie band Of Monsters and Men gave a repeat performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on July 31st, 2019. This time with music from their just-released critically well-received third album Fever Dream.
Of Monsters and Men’s Jimmy Kimmel Live tracklist featured five songs — ‘Alligator’, ‘Wild Roses’, ‘Wars’, ‘Dirty Paws’ and ‘Crystals.’ Three tracks from the new album, and one from each of their first two LP releases.
The trio of songs from Fever Dream, however, was the most important for the already iconic Icelandic band. Coming as their live performance of the songs does just a few weeks before Of Monsters and Men kick off a new North American tour.
No worries on Wednesday night, though, as Of Monsters and Men’s Jimmy Kimmel Live performance of ‘Alligator’, ‘Wild Roses’ and ‘Wars’ was pretty damned stellar.
With the band looking and acting so cool as well, that it seemed as though they showed up on Kimmel every week.
Sound-wise too, Kimmel often offers better than his rivals on the late-night talk show circuit.
He and his sound crew didn’t disappoint here either, as Of Monsters and Men sounded better than I have heard them on a TV show in a while.
Nothing to do with them or their failing, but only due to the extremely good sound engineering.

You can also hear ‘Wars‘ along with ‘Crystals‘ and ‘Dirty Paws‘ live in the video below those, which was shot by an audience member.
As per usual when they play live, they were superb.
