How is it possible that Paloma Faith live always sounds just as good or better than she sounds on album? But, yes, she does. Just look at this video – Paloma Faith’s stunning performance at the Barbican, singing ‘Let Your Love Walk In’, ‘ Let Me Down Easy’ & ‘Blood Sweat & Tears’. What a voice, and how beautifully she plays with the vocals of each song.
I particularly like ‘Let Your Love Walk In‘, which begins with a beautiful soft orchestral introduction, then gets powerhouse as soon as Paloma starts to sing with that amazing voice of hers.
It’s dramatic, touching, a huge song and yet……as always with Paloma, it still feels like she’s just singing to you.
