Watch Panda Bear’s ‘Come To Your Senses’ Video and Read the Lyrics

panda bear come to your senses

Lisbon based American experimental musician Panda Bear has released a video for his new track ‘Come To Your Senses‘, and it’s beautiful. Simply because it records a day in just one tiny Lisbon street through the eye of a stationary video camera.

Panda Bear explained why he decided to film the video that way in a post on Gorilla vs Bear, a music site he was guest running that day.

He said,

“Rua da Rosa is the narrow but main street cut through the Bairro Alto neighborhood here in Lisbon. Visitors mainly stock the area during the day but its perhaps the principle target for partying Lisbon teenagers Thursday through Sunday nights.

The constant shifts make it a particularly fascinating neighbourhood to me. Its noisy except for Sunday mornings. I’d had an idea for a while to shoot the street for a bit to catch the traffic.

When my friend Sam was here shooting a short thing we made for the recent album he was game to give the idea a go.”

Don’t know about you, but I think it worked beautifully. Oh, and yes, Noah Lennox, aka Panda Bear, does appear on the video. Check him out from 7:02 onwards.

As for ‘Come To Your Senses‘, it’s from his new album Panda Bear meets the Grim Reaper.

And, if you like this, for more from Panda Bear Meets the Grim Reaper, check out his amazing psychedelic and plain weird video for ‘Tropic of Cancer. It’s fabulous.

As for the lyrics to Panda Bear’s ‘Come To Your Senses‘, they’re very simple.

Panda Bear – ‘Come To Your Senses

[Refrain] x7
Are you mad?

[Verse]
Yeah I’m mad
With a treat
You made a bunch you bet
And you’ll make more
Go on make some more
But you won’t
Nope you won’t
Ever make that one again
You don’t make that one again
Don’t make that again
This is the last time
It’s inside the one and all
You don’t make that one again
This the last time
It’s inside the one and all

[Refrain] x7
Are you mad?
[Verse]
