Rachel Platten has just released the lyric video for her new single, Platten’s ‘Siempre Estaré Ahí‘, a duet with Argentinian singer Diego Torres. Translated into English, the song title is ‘Always Be There‘, and it’s the Spanish language version of Rachel Platten’s big hit ‘Stand By You‘.
Rachel Platten, of course, is known worldwide for her massive hit song ‘Fight Song‘. A song that talked about her 10-years of struggles making a name for herself in the music industry, and how she always believed in herself even if most other people didn’t.
As for having her song ‘Stand By You‘ in Spanish, Patten said, “Listening to this song for the first time in Spanish, it blew my mind! It was very inspiring. It was amazing to discover what the translation meant. It was a somewhat different but equally beautiful and inspiring meaning, so it’s very exciting for me.”
Watch the lyrics video for ‘Siempre Estaré Ahí’ below. I don’t know about you, but I think I like the Spanish version even more than the original. It seems even more romantic somehow.
