Watch Royal Blood give rocking performance of ‘Lights Out‘ on Seth Meyers

British hard rock band Royal Blood’s upcoming sophomore album, How Did We Get So Dark?, releases next week and the duo are already doing the promotion for it.

Last night’s promotional performance was Royal Blood on Late Night with Seth Meyers performing ‘Lights Out‘, the first single from the album. A repeat performance from their appearance on Jimmy Kimmel last month.

And if you even just click on the video below to watch Ben Thatcher beating the hell out of his drums, it’s worth a watch.

Although, of course, ‘Lights Out‘ also has lead vocalist Mike Kerr’s superb bass and his awesome voice.  All in all, an impressive performance from the pair.

Royal Blood is also in the U.S. for a tour that includes a festival appearance at Bonnaroo on Sunday, then back to the U.K. for Glastonbury, Germany for both the Hurricane Festival and Southside Festival, and Poland for the Open’er Festival.

They are also playing at a huge number of other festivals around the U.S. and Europe, as well as their own concert dates.

You can check out Royal Blood’s planned dates from now until November 29th (in Brighton, U.K) on their website.

And, of course, pre-order their second album. It releases on June 16th.

Updated: I had to substitute Royal Blood’s performance of ‘Lights Out‘ on Jimmy Kimmel instead of the original video from Seth Meyers because, as usual, Meyers’ team has deleted the video from YouTube (the reason we no longer showcase Seth Meyer performances on Leo Sigh). You can watch that performance below and, yes, it is just as good.
