Traveling from Vienna, Austria back to the United States yesterday, I missed the amazing British band Savages performing on The Ellen Show. Thanks to YouTube, though, it was easy to catch up and, yes, they were as incredible as I expected.
Although not a particularly expected choice for Ellen, of course, as when you consider her usual audience — a lot of middle-class mums — this artistic post punk London-based alternative rock band is not exactly what you would expect.
Savages performed their latest single ‘Adore‘ from their new album Adore Life and, as usual, were completely on point. Just exactly as they were when they performed the same track on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last month.

As for Ellen, she said she loves “finding interesting and unique music” and Savages definitely produces that.
