Brooklyn-based noise pop duo Sleigh Bells appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night where they performed their single ‘I Can Only Stare‘.
‘I Can Only Stare‘ is the third single from the duo’s latest album Jessica Rabbit, which was released on November 11th and is the first album from them in over three years.
It is the fourth studio album for the duo, and was received with mainly positive reviews from both critics and fans.
The 14-track album is one that is a lot more melodic than Sleigh Bells’ previous releases and a bit less ‘noise’, and that seems to have hooked in critics even more.
Watch Sleigh Bells on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in the video below. It’s a nice performance. You can pick up their latest album, including this track, on most major music sites online.
Update: Sadly, Stephen Colbert has deleted the video from his YouTube channel, which is why we no longer showcase music from his show. We have substituted an equally superb performance Sleigh Bells gave of the song on the BBC show Later…with Jools Holland instead. Enjoy.
