The Revivalists performed ‘Wish I Knew You‘ on Ellen today
Ellen DeGeneres says she invited rock soul band The Revivalists onto her show the minute she heard their hit single ‘Wish I Knew You‘ on the radio.
It took them a while but, today, The Revivalists appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to perform ‘Wish I Knew You‘ and, as you would expect, they were superb.
The Revivalists formed in 2007 and are from Ellen’s own hometown of New Orleans. ‘Wish I Knew You‘ is from their third album Men Amongst Mountains, which was released in 2015. An album that brought them to the attention of Rolling Stone magazine that, soon after, named them as one of 10 Bands You Need To Know.
