Swedish pop rock band The Royal Concept appeared on the talk show Skavlan over the weekend, where they gave a fabulous performance of ‘Smile‘.
‘Smile‘ is from the band’s latest five-track EP of the same name, and is a pretty cool rock pop dance number with a lovely upbeat, happy feel to it. So much so, you’ll be tapping your feet and itching to get out of your chair just a few seconds in.
The EP itself is a departure from the kind of music The Royal Concept has released in the past, with this one more of a glam-inspired release than anything else. Not that I’m complaining, though.
It is nice to see a Swedish band like The Royal Concept unafraid to try something new and, for me, this time it works beautifully.
