The English glam rock band The Struts showed up on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night where they gave a stellar performance of their latest single ‘Kiss This‘.
Not a new song for the band sadly, though, at least where British fans are concerned, as the track first showed up on their 2014 EP of the same name.
Still, a pretty nice performance of a very cool song, and one that, weirdly you may think, has suddenly found popularity in the US this year as it has hit high places on several Billboard music charts recently.
It isn’t, however, as weird as it may seem, and that is because The Struts decided to go all out in targeting the United States this year. So they released an album of previously released music, but remixed and revamped for the American market, and it is that album that is slowly climbing up the American charts.
‘Kiss This‘ was one of the tracks on the new album. It is called Everybody Wants, and you can currently pick it up on any major online music site.

Updated: Sadly, Colbert has deleted The Struts live performance from his YouTube channel. But, happily, The Struts have uploaded their similarly superb live performance on Late Night with Seth Meyers to their official channel. Just ignore the terrible sound mixing on the show, as the band’s performance is still well worth watching. You can see that in the video below.
