American rock band Train showed up on the late night talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Friday night to perform two tracks — ‘Heartbreaker‘ and ‘Living Loving Maid (She’s Just A Woman)‘ from their new album, Train Does Led Zeppelin II.
Tracks that showed off Luis Maldonado’s superb guitar work, and Pat Monahan amazing vocals.
And, yes, the band has stayed faithful to the original songs, which some Train fans will not like. But for what it is, these two tracks, and the rest of the album, are excellent.
As for Train Does Led Zeppelin II, the album is the first cover album the San Francisco band has ever released, but it’s close to their hearts as they are huge Led Zeppelin fans.
What is even cooler about it too is all proceeds from it go to Family House in San Francisco, a non-profit Train has been involved with for many years.
Watch Train performing ‘Heartbreaker‘ and ‘Living Loving Maid (She’s Just A Woman)‘ in the videos below. And grab the album now if you enjoy the sound.
Update: Kimmel has deleted both videos from his YouTube channel, which is why we no longer showcase performances from his show as it usually happens to most of them. So I am showcasing a similarly superb perform Train gave of the two tracks at Mountain Jam instead. Enjoy!
