Wilco’s ‘Someone To Lose’ Video Is a Claymation Extravaganza — And So Cool

Alternative folk rock band Wilco released their tenth studio album Schmilco in early September. Yesterday they published the official video for one of the first two singles from the album — ‘Someone To Lose‘, and it is a claymation extravaganza that is utterly cool.

In the ‘Someone To Lose‘ video, a bride and groom are dancing on top of a wedding cake, but the bride is soon kidnapped by a worm and a griffin. The groom goes to work to gather the rescue party, and he and the wedding guests fly off in pursuit.

A battle at the top of a waterfall soon ensues, with the bride being rescued and the griffin falling to his death in the waters below.

The Wilco ‘Someone To Lose‘ claymation video was created by Joe Baughman,  Watch it below.

You can pick up Wilco’s Schmilco all major online music distribution sites, and listen to it on Spotify and Deezer.
