Listen to The Cactus Blossoms’ ‘Mississippi‘ from ‘Twin Peaks‘
Minneapolis brothers Jack Torrey and Page Burkum, aka The Cactus Blossoms, showed up on the third episode of the new season of ‘Twin Peaks‘ this week.
If you are not familiar with the duo, they were the ones playing the song ‘Mississippi‘ onstage at the Bang Bang Bar at the end of the episode. (Season 3 Episode 3 — “The Return” — Part 3).
‘Mississippi‘ is from The Cactus Blossoms’ 2016 album You’re Dreaming. And it is a perfect song for ‘Twin Peaks‘, as it has such a deliciously surrealistic feel to it.
