Delivery Man, E11 audience falls .4 percent before series finale – even though K-drama deserves more viewers

It appears the Korean drama Delivery Man, Episode 11 audience wasn’t as loyal to this excellent mystery comedy drama as I would have liked.

According to Nielsen Korea, Delivery Man, Episode 11, the audience fell .4 percent from its previous episode.

Not a huge number if the viewership of the drama was bigger but in a drama like Delivery Man, which is only grabbing around 1 percent of viewers in its time slot as it is, a .4 percent drop is huge.

The ratings for Episode 11 of the drama then were just .9 percent of the audience, which was quite a drop from the previous episode’s 1.3 percent, and back down into the low audience numbers of Episodes 8 and 9.

Again, something I do not understand as, while I would never say Delivery Man is my favorite drama of the current season, it has definitely managed to hold my attention throughout its run.

International audiences also seem to agree with me as Viki viewers are currently rating the comedy drama 9.5 out of 10.

Meanwhile, over on My Drama List users have been awarding the drama a steady 7.9 out of 10 since it premiered on March 1st. (And again, 7.9 out of 10 is quite a high score for My Drama List viewers, who tend to score on the low side for many dramas).

The final episode of Delivery Man airs later on tonight in South Korea on Genie TV, ENA and on TVING at 21:00 (KST).

Fingers crossed its final episode manages to at least grab the same number of viewers as Episode 10, as the drama has deserved more viewers than it has earned all along.
