Several Korean dramas saw a rise in their ratings in South Korea on Sunday night, with the JTBC drama Doctor Slump, Episode 8 being one of them.
In its case, Doctor Slump, Episode 8 ratings shot back up on Sunday night to earn the K-drama 6.23 percent — not far from its highest ever rating of 6.73 percent, and a nice way for the show to wrap up the first half of its run.
The K-drama also performed well in Seoul garnering 6.82 percent, which is almost identical to the rating it earned for its previous episode.
Both the Korean drama’s nationwide and Seoul ratings pushed Doctor Slump into first place on cable TV for all of Sunday.
Doctor Slump‘s performance on Netflix
Meanwhile the medical-themed rom-com is still performing extremely well on Netflix where it earned the #3 spot on the platform’s Top 10 Non-English TV Shows chart during the period of February 5th to the 11th.
The next Netflix Top 10 data will be released this coming Tuesday and, as Doctor Slump has been in the Top 10 since the week the drama premiered, it is likely it will still be on the chart then.
Doctor Slump stars Park Hyung Sik, Park Shin Hye, Yoon Park, and Gong Seong Ha.
With the first half of its 16-episode run ending with solid ratings, the Korean drama will kick off its second half next Saturday, February 24th.
