DRIPPIN’s ‘The One’ music video is explosive and high-energy, shows off boy band’s superb dance skills

South Korean boy band DRIPPIN released their debut studio album Villain: The End today and, along with the full-length album, the group also uploaded a music video for one of the album’s singles — a music video for DRIPPIN’s ‘The One‘, and a more explosive, high-energy video it would be hard to find.

The One‘ music video has all seven members of the boy band in an industrial landscape singing and dancing, while two members of the band are engulfed by hot and cold flames and fight it out to become ‘the only one’.

And yep, the boys kill it in this brilliantly-filmed video as, not only is it fun to watch, it is also a fabulous vehicle for their superb dance skills.

DRIPPIN’s Villain: The End was initially supposed to be released on November 1st but, after South Korean went into officially mourning due to the massive loss of life during the Itaewon Halloween crush, the band decided to postpone its release for two more weeks.

DRIPPIN, by the way, is:

  • unseong (윤성) – leader, vocal, main dancer
  • Hyeop (협) – main vocal
  • Changuk (창욱) – vocal
  • Dongyun (동윤) – main rapper
  • Minseo (민서) – vocal
  • Junho (준호) – vocal
  • Alex (알렉스) – vocal, rapper

The boy band made their debut in October, 2020 at the height of the Covid-19 panic, so it is amazing they have become as successful as they have.

Watch DRIPPIN’s ‘The One‘ music video below, though, and you will quickly understand why.

Make sure you hit the CC button to get the track’s lyrics in English.

You can also listen to the group’s debut studio album Villain: The End in full in the Spotify widget below that.  I have had the album on repeat for a couple of hours now, as most of the tracks are absolute bangers.
