House of Ninjas #1 most-watched Netflix non-English TV show

The latest data is out via Netflix for the most-watched non-English TV shows on the streaming platform and, as you might expect from all the chatter, House of Ninjas is #1 on the list for the period of February 19th to February 25th, 2024.

According to the data via Netflix’s Tudum, House of Ninjas is #1 on the Netflix Non-English TV Shows chart due to the Japanese drama being viewed more than 4.5 million times this week alone.

It is the drama’s second week in the Netflix Top 10 rankings, as it debuted at #2 on the chart just four days after it premiered.

It was also watched for more than 32.2 million hours worldwide, which is a huge amount of time considering the Thai drama in 2nd place — Ready, Set, Love: Season 1 — was watched 17.5 million hours.

House of Ninjas was also in the Top 10 in 69 countries on Netflix, including Australia, New Zealand, Panama, Paraguay, Jamaica, Austria, Malta, Switzerland, Hungary, Kenya, Egypt, Thailand, Taiwan, Vietnam, Hong Kong, India and, of course, in the drama’s home country of Japan.

House of Ninjas was created specifically for Netflix by the American director, writer, editor, and actor Dave Boyle (Big Dreams Little Tokyo).

He also directed House of Ninjas.

The drama stars Kento Kaku, Yōsuke Eguchi, Tae Kimura, Kengo Kora, Aju Makita, Nobuko Miyamoto, and Riho Yoshioka.

All eight episodes of the hit Japanese drama are now streaming on Netflix.
