Canned Heat’s ‘Let’s Work Together‘ is from the band’s fifth album Future Blues, which was released in 1970 via the now defunct Liberty Records.

It was the last album to feature the band’s original members, and ultimately gave the band a big hit in the UK with their cover version of the song ‘Let’s Work Together‘.

The song made it to #2 on the UK’s Singles chart, and stayed on the chart for 15 weeks.

The original version of the track was released in 1962 by rhythm and blues singer songwriter and pianist Wilbert Harrison as ‘Let’s Stick Together‘, with different lyrics than the Canned Heat version.

The Canned Heat version, however, was the one that made everyone sit up and take notice of the cool track.
