Listen to FKA Twigs’ ‘Cellophane’ from The Law According to Lidia Poët, Season 1, Ep. 2

The new Netflix period drama The Law According to Lidia Poët has just been released and offers a gripping story and a fascinating female lead.

The legal-themed series also has a pretty decent soundtrack.

A soundtrack that includes FKA Twigs’ ‘Cellophane’, which played on The Law According to Lidia Poët, Season 1, Episode 2 this week as Lidia tells Enrico to call the police now she knows who killed Elena.

FKA Twigs’ ‘Cellophane’ came out in 2019 as the lead single from her sophomore studio album Magdalene.

It was her first single release since 2016’s ‘Good to Love‘, and went on to not only be critically acclaimed, but also to be placed on the Best Songs of 2019 lists of several major music critics.

Chart-wise, however, FKA Twigs‘ ‘Cellophane‘ only charted in New Zealand at #30, and in the UK at #46 on the UK Indie chart.

The song came with a masterful music video of the English singer scantily clothed and pole dancing to an audience.

Listen to FKA Twigs’ ‘Cellophane‘ as heard on The Law According to Lidia Poët in that video, and on the indie singer’s Magdalene album.

The Law According to Lidia Poët stars Matilda De Angelis, Eduardo Scarpetta, and Pier Luigi Pasinois, and is now streaming on Netflix.
